For more than 140 years, Milton Evergreen Cemetery has been nurtured by caretakers, supervised by administrators and overseen by volunteer Boards exerting the best of stewardship principles and maintaining its original non-profit intent.

The Cemetery is administered by an Evergreen Cemetery Volunteer Board of Directors, elected by shareholders, which includes all of the interment rights holders. The Board meets regularly and holds an annual general meeting each spring.

The Cemetery is designed as a public park and is open to the public from 8 a.m. to dusk daily. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy its scenery, gardens, trees and walkways.
